Rumsfeld still lost; search party convened
The recently deposed Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was last seen wandering the corridors of the Pentagon on Wednesday, and he has not been seen since, according to the Associated Press. Pentagon sources told reporters that the former Defense Secretary, after a final briefing and submitting his resignation, was given a map schematic of the Pentagon grounds, and proceeded to walk towards the main rotunda, when he made a turn down an earlier hallway, where it is assumed he lost his way. The Pentagon security force has been dispatched to search the spacious compound, and the White House secret service checks the “lost and found” periodically for signs of the lost former Defense Secretary. His day-to-day duties will be assumed by Deputy Secretary of Defense Harvey Firestein until the Rumsfeld is found.
