Improprieties related to a recent jay-walking ticket incurred while crossing Pennsylvania Avenue in an area devoid of cross-walks, has left another scandal in Harry reid’s wake, as ethics violations continue to accumulate for the Nevada senator. “It’s outrageous to think, whatever the circumstances, that the senator would see fit to disgrace our nation’s traffic laws,” thundered Senate majority leader Bill Frist from the Senate floor today, in calling for hearings. “The American people have had it with these shenanigans!”

Though he has denied wrong-doing in other scandals, most think he will be unable to escape retribution, possible censure or even expulsion in the matter related to the jay-walking ticket. “What we simply want to know,” said Frist to reporters, “is what the Senator knew, and when he knew it.”
