writers for the right-leaning Dredge Report website have come across and claim to have access to a secret memo between Al Qaeda operatives. “I know these leaks usually help the liberal press, and I abhor leaks, but i like this one,” said Dredge.

“They said, and I quote, ‘we took the bombing of the Cole much more seriously, because we know the US really liked the Cole. Also, the oil fields in Iraq were more of a back-up. We wish we’d done some real damage to US forces. But, alas, not to be. It’s a very discouraging thing that their resolute leader will not pull-out, and if Congress ever opposes him, we will feel very good about that.'”

“Do you see? It’s there, quite in black and white,” said concervative commentator Fred Carnes, in discussing the memo in his on-line column today.
