Asked today about what would constitute victory in Iraq, President Bush told reporters “One thing I want to see is that they learn to show a little bit of appreciation…and when I say show some appreciation, I don’t mean bombing our convoys, or Iraqi soldiers we train turning around and attacking us…that’s not appreciation at all, in my book.”

He said if the Prime Minister designate Al Maliki, Shiite religious leader Muqtada Sadr and the full Iraqi leadership can’t do this, “They oughta go to their room by themselves, and think about this a little bit.”
