Martyrdom actually a good career move in Arab-Muslim world

A new study by the non-profit Peterson Group in Kenya has shown that families of suicide bombers in Arab countries involved in terrorism activities make approximately 8 times the median income compared to families where no such and were 17 times more likely to have college graduate or post graduate training in a highly lucrative field.

“It is for upward mobility in working-class families now,” said Arab-American Studies professor Tani Reliasson. “It’s a marker of status, having the wherewithal, somewhere in your family, to sacrifice yourself for Allah.”

Suicide bombers themselves experience an improved quality of life, in the short term, as well.
